Lani Rhines

Lani Hsiao currently works for Palantir Technologies, focused on advanced analytics in Healthcare. Prior to Palantir, Lani was an Executive Advisor for Global Impact Advisors and a Principal in the Healthcare Practice at The Boston Consulting Group. In both roles, Lani served a global portfolio of commercial life sciences and public sector clients through large-scale M&A deals, PMIs, new product launches, marketing & sales strategies, and SCM negotiations.
Before BCG, Lani worked at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst/ Associate in Technology from 1997-2002, based out of New York and Hong Kong. In this role, Lani focused on the convergence of voice/ video/ data on a single platform. Lani was part of the original team that designed and built the first super booth at the NYSE. In 2003-2004 Lani was a critical asset in building Columbia University's Conflict Prevention program through her work with the United Nations, World Bank, CU's Center for Conflict Resolution (CICR), and European Center for Conflict Prevention (ECCP). In addition, she worked in the field (East Timor), focused on natural resources in post-conflict zones to ensure outcomes of financed programs.
Lani has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University and a dual Master's degree of Science in Urban Planning / International Affairs and, Planning and Preservation from Columbia University.
Inspired by her late husband's service, a former Navy SEAL and CIA GB Officer, and the incredible community surrounding him, Lani is dedicated to giving back and building upon the support she and their children have experienced. With this passion, Lani is focused on giving back to the Veteran community and the families that support them.
Lani currently resides in Northern Virginia with her three sons.
